Future Plans

Payne Springs Fire Rescue has a master plan which involves a recent purchase of a new CAFS Pumper. E-One received the bid and built the Custom Pumper for the Department. The Apparatus is fully in service.
The Department is currently in a building project to build a new main station. Get involved, Bob Clarkston is our General Manager for the project. If you wish to donate services and such, please contact him. Is number is listed in the Mabank phone book.  The Station will include a main training/community room, sleeping quarters, EMS quarters and other offices.

Our main goal is to provide the best service we can, protect and save lives and property, while lowering the ISO rating so everyone receives the benefits of a progressive professional Department.

Our ISO rating was a 6/9 until the Deparment purchased twin Vacumn Tankers (E-One Water Maters) which assisted the Department in lowering the rating to a PPC of 4 across our District.  The Department is seeking donations to assist us in allowing for the purchase of the best equipment and apparatus we can get, within reason. Our members take pride in our operations. After a long search we did find a very good 1990 E-One Platform Ladder Truck. Thanks to Berwyn Fire Company in PA, they worked with us so we could add this apparatus to our fleet. We will depend on some major help to make payments on this unit and the others we have, but our crews can ride in safety and return home safely after each call.
Please support us in the venture of a new Station. We need your help.
